Main Street's Yellow Jacket Boat . . . A Piece of Denison History
Main Street Lumber and the Pool family have a long and storied history in Denison, Texas. They love their city and its rich heritage. Of course they always like to remind people that Denison is the birth place of President Dwight D. Eisenhower, but you may not know that Denison was once home to the famed "Yellow Jacket Boat Company" who had the famous singing cowboy Roy Rogers as one of its board members. Once billed as some of the finest wooden boats in the country, you can now see one of these rare gems on display in our Main Street showroom. We invite you to come down and take a look and get some history and good stories from Chuck Pool. Learn more by watching the "Texas Country Reporter" feature on Yellow Jacket Boats below.
